Researcher biography

I graduated with a combined PhD/Master's in Organisational Psychology. My research and applied work span topics such as leadership destabilisation, leader transgressions, and social identity dynamics within organisations. I have been awarded a UQ Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to investigate the social psychological underpinnings of mindful operations within high-reliability teams - work groups that need to perform despite facing volatile conditions (e.g., underground miners, firefighters, military operators, emergency first-responders).

I am also an AHPRA-registered psychologist coordinating placements for the award-winning Work and Research in Applied Psychology (WRAP) program here at UQ. This program offers 4th-year psychology students work-integrated learning experiences whilst contributing to industry growth and community needs.

Occasionally, I enjoy writing articles that apply research and theory to real-world events with the aim of enabling research to reach wider audiences.
