Upon acceptance to the UQ Psychology College of Supervisors, members commit to a minimum of supervision of one Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), Master of Clinical Psychology, Doctor of Psychology, Master of Psychology, Master of Organisational Psychology or Master of Business Psychology student per year for three years. In return, you’ll receive a range of benefits.
Academic Title Recognition
Many of Queensland’s best professionals in medical, health and behavioural sciences are UQ Academic Title Holders. It is their enthusiasm and dedication that keeps UQ at the forefront of worldwide trends in health, behavioural and medical education and research. We place enormous value on the work of these dedicated health professionals and in recognition, award our members with an Academic Title.
Board Approved Supervisor Training
The School of Psychology will fund the cost of Board Approved Supervisor Training for registered psychologists who wish to join the College.
Annual UQ Psychology College of Supervisors Conference
The School of Psychology runs a number of professional development and engagement events each year. Members of the College receive exclusive access to events prior to their release to the general public and free attendance at our Annual UQ Psychology College of Supervisors Conference. The Conference not only provides an opportunity for members to access high quality, evidence based professional development, but allows them to connect and collaborate with our academic staff and their clinical colleagues.
UQ Library Access
The UQ Library has one of the largest academic collections in Australia and by far the largest in Queensland. It provides an exceptional collection of books and access to more than 3,500 health and medical e-Journals and online databases. The Library has a number of locations across Campuses and members are welcome to make use of the extensive collection of resources.

Members of the UQ Psychology College of Supervisors receive a UQ email account, internet and staff web portal access.
Clinician-In-Residence
Book a space at the School or in our Clinics for the day, collaborate with our staff and students in the beautiful surrounds of The University of Queensland’s St Lucia Campus.
UQ Sport
Members are eligible to join the University’s sports club – UQ SPORT. Members have access to over 40 sporting clubs and receive discounts at a number of St Lucia Campus Facilities.

Members should be available to supervise a minimum of three students/placements over a period of three years.
Places are limited, and applications are assessed on area of practice endorsement and our program supervisory requirements. Admission to the UQ College of Supervisors is by invitation only. All memberships to the UQ Psychology of Supervisors will be reviewed on an annual basis.
